Hi! My name is Nichole Hazel, but you can call me Nikki!
Growing up in a small town in central Massachusetts, I was an only child. Timid and quiet, I quickly became fascinated by my own imagination to escape from reality. Anytime I would visit my grandmother, she would give me some paper and some crayons. From that point forward I stuck with creating art.
As I was finally approaching sixteen and entering high school, my grandmother sadly passed away. Not only did this hurt my family, but it struck deeply into my mental health. From these years on, I would come back to art not only as a way to express my feelings… but to bring back memories from earlier years with my Grammy.

Now, 22 years later, I've interned at an animation studio, I have been in two exhibitions, won an award and even have a publication under my belt.
I studied Art at Mount Wachusett Community College from 2020 to 2023 where I got my associates. I am currently attending Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, majoring in Illustration with a concentration in Concept Art! I'm hoping to earn my BFA by 2026-27!
Using media around me like animated movies and television shows to even watching anime as a kid, I am able to come up with unique characters and develop their own backstories.
